I acquired a great deal of knowledge from taking this course. This course taught me and proved to me that being active and working out does pay off- not only, physically, but also mentally. I learned to push myself and with the help of my instructor’s motivation and support which helped my endurance significantly. Along with learning different exercises, I also learned what muscles are being utilized during the work-outs and how to properly stretch those muscles to prevent injury.
I have already begun to apply this knowledge into my daily exercise routines. I would also apply it whenever I have a friend or family member that is interested in wanting to be more physically active.
My intentions to continue an exercise regimen is definite! With its proven benefits for overall mental and physical health I cannot resist living a healthy lifestyle. Exercising provides me with a gateway to clear my mind and feel and overall balance in my life.
This is honestly one of the most fun courses I have ever taken at SLCC and I feel the way my instructor structured it was great!
